Held against my will and nonvoluntarily admitted into the behavioral/psychiatric unit, staff confiscated my phone, clothing, and shoes. I was given a yellow gown and socks. I was denied access to the phone for calls to the authorities, and only allowed to call family members approved by staff members. Staff would check and confirm the number and dial for me. I had to use the bathroom with the door open and had no access to a shower. I requested to watch the news and was denied the ability to keep up with current events on the television. Staff played the same video tape over and over for the full duration of my stay. I requested to go outside for some air, and was informed I cannot go outside. I requested a complaint form and was denied. I requested to utilize a computer to file a complaint and was denied. I requested paper and a pen to write my complaint and was denied. I requested the staff write the information on my behalf and was denied. I inquired about the names of all the doctors that treated me, and was not provided said names. I requested to speak to a supervisor, and when said supervisor came hours later, she additionally refused to provide a complaint form, the names of the individuals who treated me, and said supervisor refused to disclose her name to me. I began to question staff, how does a person defend themselves when they are non-voluntarily admitted, especially when staff refuse to provide complaint forms, and patients have no access to the outside world?

Good Samaritan Hospital Staff responded by approaching me with a medicated needle and threatened to use it. I explained I do not intend to hurt anyone and was simply asking questions, but was informed if I do not stop, the needle will be utilized. I sat on the bed quiet and feared for my safety during my stay at the Good Samaritan Hospital from October 17, 2025 - October 19, 2025.
